As the owner of Framer's Edge, Lee Ann relies on electronic communication to keep her business strong. However, a progressive loss of vision was threatening her ability to use the computer. The Commission for the Blind referred her to CACIL, where she learned how to use screen-reading technology for email, proofreading, scheduling employees, and even reading bus schedules. "Now I'm able to communicate with the outside world again," she says. "This technology is awesome. It's really opened a lot of doors."
