Our most vital resource at CACIL is our base of volunteers.
Our volunteers provide a broad range of very, valuable services.
Without their help we simply could not do what we do. We can not thank them enough. They are vital to our success.
But we still need more volunteers.
Please consider volunteering with us to help our neighbors with disabilities.
Remember that volunteering is a great way to do the following:
- Get involved in your community
- Meet new and interesting people
- Gain valuable work skills
- Learn about yourself and grow as a person
We need volunteers in both administrative and direct service opportunities. These include:
- Answer phones
- Teach a class (share your talents, we are always interested in new ideas)
- Help with our fund raising activities
- Participate in community boards and committees
- plus many more....
All or our volunteers are recognized at our annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner. Which is just our small way of saying thank you. Though most of our volunteers will freely say that their biggest reward is simply seeing a neighbor with a disability succeed, and do more than they could have before.
Please contact Ellen Weaver at (517) 999 - 7510 to volunteer today.
